Background
Rob has enjoyed a variety of food related occupations and currently serves as a Certified Culinary Arts Instructor and Culinary Development Manager with the University of Connecticut. As a chef, Rob has entertained audiences all over the country with his unique cooking style, personality, and down to earth, yet informative demonstrations.
Gluten Free Lifestyle
Rob is married and has three young sons. His wife's diagnosis with celiac disease introduced him to the gluten free lifestyle in the year 2000. Since that time he has made it a personal mission to create and perfect gluten free recipes which will satisfy even the harshest of critics, including those who do not NEED to be wheat and gluten free. He is the author of “Gluten Free Everyday Cookbook”, “Quick Fix Gluten Free Cookbook” and “Cooking Light Gluten Free".
Rob has been on multiple radio and TV stations, including CBS, QVC, the Food Network and Martha Stewart for cooking demonstrations and to provide information on gluten free cooking.
He has won numerous awards over the years, such as recipe and menu awards as well as the UCPEA Professional Employee of the Year and the Outstanding FYE Teaching Award.
